How You Can Help
You can help!
Worldwide—1 Billion people cannot read or write.
Hope for Humanity sponsors Literacy Learning Circles in India, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. During 2009-2010, Adventist college students through Adventist Intercollegiate Association (AIA) are partners with Hope for Humanity to support the Literacy Learning Circles in El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
On the next page you will be able to make a gift that will help support this important work. If you are making a donation as part of the AIA Collegiate project, you will have an opportunity to note that on the donation page.
This page is used for all donations to the literacy program. From the teachers, students, and communities that your gift will bless, thank you!
AIA Collegiate Literacy Project Goal for 2009-2010: $85,000
Provide the resources for 425 trained Facilitators/Teachers, and Learning Circles, to help as many as 7500 students. Our average cost per Learning Circle is $200 (Each circle serves an average of 10-15 people). This provides the foundation for our local partners to operate a strong program. Other partners include the local churches, the InterAmerican Division, and the local government.
